How to calculate radio receiver's parts values?

To project a AM radio receiver do you need to know the power for that radio? And then you calulate its parts values!

Thank you!

Yes, the parts will change as the power source changes.  It could be a simple battery to a solor with rechargable batteries.  The radio portion could remain the same but the  power supply changes as do the labor costs.
