I want to stepdown 5V DC wall adapter to 1.5V DC

I have a small transistor ( FM radio ) device, that uses a 1.5V DC.

I want to power it using the 5V wall adapter "step down" to 1.5V DC.

How can I do it.

Use a Buck converter, they are available on eBay for a few bucks, the output is stable and regulated.

The current required by the 1.5 V radio is so small that you can connect a 3.3 V zener diode to drop the 5 Volts to 1.7 V.
