It’s time for the Top 10 Electronic Circuits for May 2010.
We are glad that you like the electronic articles posted on the electroschematics.com’s website and will do the best to bring you the best electronics related informations, circuits, projects and designs.

May 2010 Top 10 Electronic Projects & Circuits

  1. Robot voice
Those of you who imagine that a robot voice generator box would require a whole heap of ICs are mistaken; the ISD2500 ChipCorder family of ICs from Winbond contains almost all the necessary hardware in a single IC to record and playback audio messages.
  2. Numeric Water Level Indicator
Most water-level indicators for water tanks are based upon the number of LEDs that glow to indicate the corresponding level of water in the container. Here we present a digital version of the water-level indicator. It uses a 7-segment display to show the water level in numeric form from 0 to 9.
  3. Motion detector alarm
This motion detector alarm circuit can detect a moving person from a distance of 1 meter. It uses a Dual IR Transmitter-Receiver module HOA1405.When the sensor detects the reflected IR rays, Alarm will sound for 2 minutes.
  4. Laser door alarm
This laser door alarm is based on the interruption of Laser beam. A low cost Laser pointer is used as the source of light beam. When somebody breaks the laser path, the alarm will be generated for few seconds.
  5. Water level sensor
This simple water level sensor circuit monitors the presence of water in a certain location or container. The circuit sends an acoustic alarm when it senses a drop of water leak. It is very simple to build and it is made of a single IC and some passive components.
  6. LED flasher
This is an AC powered LED flasher that can drive two High bright LEDs directly from the power obtained from the AC lines. The high bright LED flasher can be used as a Mock flasher or as an ornamental LED.
  7. Capacitor power supply
This Capacitor Power Supply is the most simple, space saving and low cost method is the use of a Voltage Dropping Capacitor in series with the phase line.
  8. Solar battery charger
Here is a solar charger circuit to charge Lead Acid or Ni-Cd batteries using solar energy. The circuit harvests solar energy to charge a 6 volt 4.5 Ah rechargeable battery for various applications. The charger has Voltage and Current regulation and Over voltage cut off facilities.
  9. Home inverter
An interesting article about home inverters. Home inverter is to provide uninterrupted power to run household electric devices. These are available in different voltage and load capacities. In the basic design of the inverter a DC (battery) source is connected to a transformer through the center tap of the primary winding.
  10. Dog repeller
The electronic dog repellent circuit is a high output ultrasonic transmitter which is primarily intended to act as a dog and cat repeller, which can be used individuals to act as a deterrent against some animals.

OK, we add another one to our top 10 making it top 11 🙂
Mouse repellent
This mouse and rat repellent circuit is designed because most people agree that rats and mice are not welcome in our houses, meantime some of us don’t want to hurt this creatures.
